Tenant Must Make New Claim for Recurring Service Problem

LVT Number: 18588

Tenant complained of a reduction of services in her apartment. The DRA ruled against tenant after an inspection showed no conditions needing repair. Tenant appealed, claiming that she still couldn't put her hand under the bathroom faucet, there was a hole in the bathroom, the kitchen cupboard shelves needed to be replaced, and the ceiling in the cupboard fell down. The DHCR ruled against tenant. These conditions didn't show up during the inspection. If they recurred since then, tenant must file a new complaint.
