Landlord and Tenant Settled Service Reduction Complaint

LVT Number: #24651

Rent-stabilized tenant complained of a reduction in services based on a fire in the apartment upstairs that rendered his bathroom uninhabitable. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced his rent. Landlord appealed and won. Before the DRA issued its order, landlord submitted to the DRA a letter from tenant withdrawing his complaint. Since landlord and tenant had settled the matter, no rent reduction was warranted and the DRA's order was revoked.
