Glass and Paper Recyclables Not Properly Separated

LVT Number: #24027

DOS issued a violation notice to landlord for improper placement of recyclables for collection. The notice stated that glass bottles, metal cans, and plastic bottles were improperly mixed with paper in a clear bag. The ALJ fined landlord $100. Landlord appealed and lost. Landlord claimed that he wasn't the building owner. But landlord and his wife had transferred ownership to an LLC, and landlord was still the person in charge of the property. So landlord was responsible for the violation.
