Cost of Window Screen Installation Included

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on the installation of window screens. The DRA ruled against landlord, and landlord appealed. The window screens were installed within three months of the new window installation. The DHCR ruled for landlord. The window screens were installed within a reasonable time after the windows, so they could be considered as done in connection with the windows. The screens also were directly related to the windows, which qualified as an MCI. So landlord was entitled to rent hikes for the window screens.
