Undesirable Tenant Evicted
LVT Number: 6759
Landlord New York City Housing Authority determined that tenant was undesirable because she permitted the sale of heroin in her apartment. Tenant appealed landlord's determination. The lower court revoked the ruling, and landlord appealed. The appeals court ruled that the original decision to allow tenant's eviction was supported by substantial evidence. A number of police reports showed that there were ongoing drug sales at the apartment.
