Tenant Claims Low Water Level in Washing Machines

LVT Number: 18085

Tenant complained of a reduction in services because the water level in the building's washing machines was too low. The DRA ruled against tenant, finding that this wasn't a reduction in services. Tenant appealed and lost. There was no claim that landlord didn't properly maintain the machines or that the machines weren't operating as intended. Tenant could complain to the Department of Health if she believed the low water level caused a health hazard.
