Tenant Can't Vacate Warrant
LVT Number: 18675
Landlord sued to evict tenant for nonpayment of rent. The court ruled for landlord, but delayed execution of the eviction warrant to give tenant a chance to pay the back rent owed. Tenant later asked the court to delay the eviction warrant further. The court ruled against tenant. Tenant appealed and lost. Tenant repeatedly defaulted in spite of two court orders in this case. She also had a history of chronic nonpayment of rent. Tenant didn't show good cause to vacate the eviction warrant.
