Tenant Can't Delay Eviction

LVT Number: 12069

Landlord sued to evict tenant for nonpayment of rent. The court ruled for landlord and delayed execution of the eviction warrant to give tenant a chance to pay the back rent. After a number of extensions, landlord asked the court to allow it to go forward with the eviction. The court ruled for landlord, and tenant appealed and lost. Tenant could show no good cause why the eviction should be delayed any further.
