Tenant Acknowledged Repairs

LVT Number: 16683

(Decision submitted by James R. Marino of the Manhattan law firm of Kucker & Bruh, LLP, attorneys for the landlord.) Tenant complained of a reduction in services. The DRA dismissed the case without any rent reduction because tenant acknowledged that all conditions raised in the complaint were resolved. Any additional conditions weren't set forth in the complaint. Tenant appealed, claiming that landlord didn't make all repairs in a workmanlike manner. The DHCR ruled against tenant. The DRA properly relied on tenant's written statement in dismissing the complaint.
