Landlord Fined for Placing Open Cardboard Boxes Out for Collection

DOS issued three violation notices to landlord for placing a cardboard box outside for trash collection. Despite landlord's objections, the ALJ fined landlord $300. Landlord appealed and lost. Cardboard items must be placed in a sturdy container or in a plastic bag and be placed out for collection with recyclables. It was improper to place cardboard items in a cardboard box for collection.
