Landlord Didn't Respond to DHCR Requests for Additional Information
LVT Number: #33155
Landlord applied to the DHCR for MCI rent hikes based on installation of lobby/vestibule doors and mailboxes. The DRA ruled against landlord, who appealed and lost. The DRA properly denied the application because landlord failed to respond to the DRA's requests for additional information or to resolve HPD violations or to submit a requested affidavit from a licensed engineer or architect. In his PAR, landlord sought additional time to respond to the DRA's requests. But an MCI application is not an open-ended proceeding and no further time would be granted.
