Increase Granted for Brick Pointing and Lintel Work

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on brick pointing and new window lintels. The DRA ruled for landlord, and tenants appealed. They claimed that there had been a number of leaks since this work was done. The DHCR ruled against tenants. Tenants submitted no proof that any leaks that occurred after the pointing and lintel work was done were the direct result of that work. There was no proof that the MCI was defective.
