Landlord sued to evict tenant for nonpayment of rent. The court ruled for landlord and issued an eviction warrant. Tenant asked the court to vacate the warrant for good cause shown. The court ruled against tenant. Tenant appealed and lost. Tenant showed good cause to vacate the warrant. Tenant had lived in the apartment for a long time, had acted promptly to get public assistance, and was prepared to pay all back rent. Under these circumstances, the warrant should be vacated.
