Documents Show Different Address for Tenant
LVT Number: 15376
Landlord sued to evict rent-stabilized tenant for nonprimary residence. The court ruled for landlord. Tenant appealed and lost. Landlord showed sufficient proof that tenant lived in a different apartment in the city, on the same street where tenant owned a pizzeria. Tenant's driver's license and auto registration listed the other apartment, and he had phone service there. Tenant's cousin lived in tenant's apartment and had her own phone listing there. Tenant also didn't submit tax returns for the prior year to offset landlord's proof.
