Cracked Driveway

LVT Number: 11687

(Decision submitted by James R. Marino of the Manhattan law firm of Kucker Kraus & Bruh, LLP, attorneys for the landlord.) Tenants complained of a reduction in building-wide services. The DRA ruled for tenants and reduced their rents. Landlord appealed, claiming, among other things, that no rent reductions were warranted for cracked driveway concrete. The DHCR ruled for landlord on this issue. This was a minor condition and the DHCR deleted it from the list of items for which rent reductions were granted.
