Cost of Interior Apartment Door Replacement Included

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on a number of improvements. The DRA ruled for landlord in part, granting increases for apartment windows, apartment entrance doors, and hallway doors on each floor. The DRA disallowed any increase for apartment bathroom, closet, and hallway doors. The DRA found that these items were repairs. Landlord appealed and won. Landlord had replaced all of the interior doors at the same time as it had replaced the windows and entrance doors. They were part of the MCI, and landlord was entitled to rent increases for these items.
