Aluminum Siding Qualifies as MCI

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on the installation of aluminum siding to the building exterior. The DRA ruled for landlord. Tenants appealed and lost. While several tenants initially complained of leakage through the roofs and exterior walls of the complex, they didn't dispute landlord's statement that any leaks had been repaired. Aluminum siding qualifies as a major capital improvement.
