Termination Notice Defective
LVT Number: 15119
Landlord sued to evict tenant for creating a nuisance. Tenant claimed that landlord's termination notice was defective and asked the court to dismiss the case. The court ruled for tenant. The termination notice didn't state enough facts, but just conclusory statements indicating that tenants had complained to management. The notice stated dates that management wrote to tenant about complaints of other tenants but didn't state the details, such as dates and times of the occurrences. Also, no actual complaint letters were attached to the termination notice.
