Tenant's Daughter Didn't Live in Apartment for Two Years
LVT Number: 7096
Landlord sued to evict tenant-father's daughter after tenant died. The trial court ruled for landlord, and the daughter appealed. The appeals court found that the daughter didn't live with her tenant-father in the apartment for at least two years immediately prior to tenant's death. The daughter didn't prove that she'd lived in the apartment since late 1983. Her appeal was dismissed.
