Tenant's Conduct Interfered with Other Tenants' Safety
LVT Number: 9791
Landlord sued to evict Section 8 tenant for creating a nuisance. The trial court in Suffolk County ruled for landlord and tenant appealed. The appeals court ruled against tenant. Landlord sufficiently proved that tenant's conduct interfered with the safety and health of other tenants. This justified nonrenewal of her lease.
