Tenant Notified of Pending MCI Application
LVT Number: 14693
Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on several improvements. The DRA ruled for landlord. Tenant appealed, claiming that landlord didn't list the MCI application docket number on tenant's lease. The DHCR ruled against tenant. Landlord gave tenant a lease that included notice that the rent was subject to change based on MCIs. Tenant's lease also included a description of the improvements for which landlord had applied for rent increases. So landlord gave tenant proper notice of its pending MCI application.
