Tenant Gets Fees for Illegal Sublet Case

Landlord sued to evict tenant for illegal subletting. The court ruled against landlord, finding that the supposed subtenant was actually tenant's roommate. Tenant asked for attorney's fees. The court ruled against tenant. Tenant appealed and won. The appeals court sent the case back for a hearing on the amount of attorney's fees due to tenant. Tenant won the case and so was entitled to attorney's fees.
