Tenant Entitled to Elevator Service
LVT Number: 13913
Tenant sued landlord, seeking repair of certain conditions and restoration of services in a loft building. The court ruled for tenant and found that tenant was entitled to unrestricted passenger and freight elevator service. Landlord appealed and lost. Tenant was entitled to this service. The fact that landlord previously was fined for not providing elevator service didn't mean that tenant couldn't sue to restore the service.
