Tenant Didn't Prove Breach
LVT Number: 16700
Landlord sued to evict tenant for nonpayment of rent. Tenant claimed breach of the warranty of habitability. The court ruled for landlord, finding no breach. Tenant appealed and lost. Tenant's general claims about apartment conditions and notice to landlord of those conditions weren't sufficient to prove breach of the warranty of habitability.
