Tenant Can't Set Aside Stipulation
LVT Number: 9445
Tenant and landlord signed a stipulation settling a nonpayment case. Tenant later asked the court to vacate the agreement, and the court refused. Tenant appealed, and lost. Tenant had signed the stipulation after getting legal advice. And since tenant didn't show any other reason to invalidate the agreement such as fraud, collusion, mistake, or accident the court wouldn't set it aside.
