Tenant Can't Get Tile Floor Needing Repair Replaced by Wood Flooring
LVT Number: #26789
Rent-stabilized tenant complained of a reduction in service. The DRA ruled against tenant and dismissed her complaint. Tenant appealed and lost. Landlord presented an invoice showing that it had replaced kitchen cabinets that tenant complained about. Landlord also claimed that tenant refused access to repair tile floors in tenant’s bedroom because she wanted wood flooring. Tenant didn’t deny landlord’s claims, and her complaint was properly dismissed.
