Tenant Can't Challenge Term of Expired Lease

Tenant complained that landlord hadn't renewed his lease and/or hadn't given him a signed lease copy. The DRA ruled against tenant after tenant didn't submit requested additional information. Tenant appealed, claiming that when he first moved into the apartment, landlord gave him a one-year lease. Landlord didn't give tenant the option of a one- or two-year lease, as required. The DHCR ruled against tenant. The Rent Stabilization Code doesn't permit tenant to challenge the term of his vacancy lease after it has expired
