Tenant Can't Ask Landlord Questions Before Trial

Landlord sued to evict tenant for nonprimary residence. Tenant claimed that landlord had brought the proceeding in bad faith, and asked the trial court for permission to ask landlord questions before trial. The court refused, and tenant appealed. The appeals court also refused. Tenant didn't show enough need for pretrial questioning.
