Registration Didn't Show Rent Reduced Based on Service Reduction

Tenant complained that landlord didn't indicate a services rent reduction in her annual apartment registration. The DRA ruled against tenant, finding that the registration did include this information. Tenant appealed and won. The DRA's decision was incorrect. The annual registrations for 2001, 2002, and 2003 didn't state the reduced collectible rent resulting from the DHCR's rent reduction order. Landlord was ordered to file an amended 2004 registration, reflecting the rent reduction.
