Petition Wasn't Defective
LVT Number: 15162
Landlord sued to evict tenant for not correcting a breach of his lease. Tenant claimed that landlord's notice to cure and court petition were defective. The court ruled against tenant. Tenant appealed and lost. Landlord's cure notice stated sufficient facts to notify tenant of the claimed lease breach. Tenant hadn't paid rent and other money owed at an agreed-upon time.
