Partnership Can't Bring Owner Occupancy Case
LVT Number: 14650
Landlord sued to evict rent-stabilized tenant to recover the apartment for personal use. The court ruled against landlord. Landlord appealed and lost. The building was owned by a partnership, not by any individual owner. Therefore, by law, landlord couldn't bring an owner occupancy case.
