MCI Increase Granted for Chimney Replacement

The DRA granted landlord’s application for MCI rent hikes based on chimney replacement but disallowed the cost of work on the building’s parapet and the cost of pointing. Landlord appealed and lost. Landlord had submitted one MCI application for two adjoining buildings and acknowledged that the pointing wasn't properly completed for one of the buildings. Landlord also had withdrawn that portion of its MCI application relating to a new roof installation. Landlord couldn't now seek approval of pointing for only one of the buildings.
