Landlord Violated Court Order
LVT Number: 16497
Landlord sued to evict tenant. Tenant claimed there were a number of violations in his apartment and in the public areas of the building. The court ordered landlord to correct the violations. Later the court ruled that landlord had violated the court's prior order by not correcting the violations. Landlord appealed and lost. DOB records showed that elevator violations hadn't been corrected. Leaks in tenant's apartment weren't timely repaired, and certain violations that had been removed were later reinstated for the same conditions.
