Landlord Used Wrong Form

Tenant complained that landlord didn't send her a proper rent-stabilized renewal lease. The DRA ruled against tenant based on tenant's failure to respond to a request for further information. Tenant appealed, stating that she didn't receive the notice from the DRA. The DHCR reconsidered tenant's complaint and ruled for tenant. Landlord didn't use a proper lease renewal form. Among other things, the renewal notice didn't show how tenant's new rent was calculated. Landlord was directed to offer tenant a proper renewal lease.
