Landlord Not Liable for Dog Bite

Tenant sued landlord after another tenant's dog bit her child. Tenant claimed that landlord was liable for the child's injuries. The court ruled against tenant, and tenant appealed. The appeals court ruled against tenant. There was no proof that landlord knew, or should have known, that the other tenant was keeping a dog or that the dog was vicious.
