Landlord Must Restore Wall and Fixtures of Loft Space

Landlord sued to evict loft tenant, claiming he had no right to the unit. Tenant claimed he was seeking Loft Law protection in a proceeding before the Loft Board. Tenant also claimed that landlord illegally removed a wall and fixtures which had separated tenant's space from that of another tenant on the same floor who had moved out. The court ruled for tenant. Tenant had a right to occupy the space under a lease agreement with landlord. Landlord must restore the wall and fixtures and permit tenant to move back into the loft.
