Landlord Gets $2,000 in Rent Owed

Landlord sued former tenant in small claims court for back rent owed. The court ruled for landlord, and tenant appealed. Tenant claimed that there was a rent overcharge. The appeals court ruled against tenant. Tenant was given proper credit for the full amount of the four-year overcharge. The $2,000 awarded to landlord was the amount due after tenant got credit for the overcharge.
