Landlord Didn't Send Court Papers to Administratrix of Deceased Tenant's Estate

LVT Number: 14729

Landlord sued to evict the administratrix of tenant's estate and tenant's grandson after tenant died. Only tenant's grandson lived in the apartment. Landlord sent copies of the court papers to both of these people at the apartment. The administratrix claimed that landlord didn't properly deliver the court papers to her. The court ruled for the administratrix. Landlord should have mailed a copy of the papers to her at the address where it knew she lived. The case was dismissed.
