Landlord Didn't Put Up Sidewalk Shed During Repairs

DOB issued a violation notice to landlord for failing to take required measures to secure public safety. The violation stated that landlord hadn't put up a sidewalk shed before starting outside repairs. The ALJ fined landlord $2,400. Landlord appealed and lost. Landlord pointed out that the ALJ's decision incorrectly stated that landlord put the shed up 33 days after the violation was issued. In fact it did so 10 days after receiving the violation. But the violation and penalty were the same either way.
