Landlord Didn't Agree to Rent Stabilization Coverage of Tenants

Tenants sued landlord for breach of contract. They claimed that landlord agreed to subject tenants' apartments to rent stabilization by attaching rent stabilization riders to their leases and offering renewal leases on rent stabilization forms. Landlord asked the court to dismiss the case. The court ruled for landlord. Tenants appealed and lost. Landlord didn't agree to rent stabilization coverage of tenants, and the case was properly dismissed.
