Landlord Can Get Apartment in Brownstone for Family Use

Landlords husband and wife sued to evict rent-stabilized tenants to recover apartment for owner occupancy. The trial court ruled for landlords, and tenant appealed. The appeals court ruled against tenant. Landlords showed, through a 10-day trial, that they sought the apartment in good faith in order to renovate the building as the primary residence for them and their two children.
