Increase Granted for New Windows and Doors

Yonkers landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on the installation of new windows and doors. The DRA granted landlord's application, and tenants appealed. Tenants argued that the work had been done to correct violations, so it shouldn't qualify as an MCI. The DHCR ruled for landlord. Improvements done to correct violations can qualify for MCI rent hikes.
