DHCR Dismisses Tenant's Vague Complaint About Inadequate Heat

Tenant argued that he had no apartment heat for the month of October 2019 while the temperature was, at times, as low as 43 degrees. Tenant claimed that heat was inadequate throughout the winter. Landlord pointed out that tenant's claims were vague and nonspecific. The DHCR noted that tenant submitted no HPD report showing that violations were found in connection with tenant's heat complaint.
