Cost of Erecting Safety Bridge Included

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on a number of improvements,including pointing and waterproofing. The DRA granted an increase for the pointing and waterproofing but disallowed any increase for the erection of a safety bridge and masonry work that was performed in conjunction with the pointing and waterproofing. Landlord appealed and the DHCR ruled for landlord.The safety bridge and masonry work were directly related to the MCI, so the rent increase should include the cost of this work.
