Building Department Found No Elevator Defects

Tenants complained of a reduction in building-wide services. The DRA ruled for tenants and reduced their rents. Tenants appealed. Although the DRA made a number of findings in their favor, the DRA didn't make any ruling on their claim that landlord wasn't maintaining elevator services. The DHCR ruled against tenants. The DHCR refers to city records to determine if there are elevator defects. Tenants had complained to the Mount Vernon Building Department about elevator services in the building. The Building Department found no elevator defects.
