Automated Digital Control System Installed in Connection with New Heating System

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on the replacement of the heating system for a large building complex. The DRA approved the rent hike for the heating system but disallowed any rent hike for an automated digital control system installed in connection with the heating system. Landlord appealed and won. The control system was directly related to the heating system and was, in fact, required to operate it. Landlord was entitled to an MCI rent hike for this part of the work.
