Alabama House Used by Tenant's Family

Landlord sued to evict rent-stabilized tenant for nonprimary residence. The court ruled against landlord after a trial. Landlord appealed and lost. Tenant proved at the trial that her New York City apartment was her primary residence. Tenant owned a house in Alabama, which was used by various members of tenant's large, extended family. Tenant used the house only occasionally, mainly for family visits and as a place to stay when in Alabama for medical treatment.
