Air Conditioner Extends Beyond Building Line

Landlord asked the DRA to grant a rent increase because rent-controlled tenant had installed an air conditioner that extended beyond the window line. The DRA ruled for landlord. Tenant appealed and lost. Under rent control regulations, landlord is entitled to a $5.00 monthly rent increase because the air conditioner extends beyond the building line.
